Doe on a Golden Afternoon.

A curious doe checks me out on a golden November afternoon. The glowing light gave everything a magical feel.

Find the fox.

Tracked this fox through the snow to a cave one morning. I'm sure it saw me before I saw it. We stared at each other for a while and then I moved on. Beautiful.

In the woods.

Came up on these deer while bushwhacking in the woods one morning. They checked me out, then bounded up the slope through the woods. Fast and agile!

Friends on Mt. Massive.

A couple of mountain goats graze unconcerned while a big guy checks me out from behind a boulder. On a climb of Mt. Massive in August.

New Friend

This wet little fawn didn’t seem to be worried about me and posed in a small clearing after a heavy wet snow. Her mother was nearby.
